Terms & Conditions

Welcome to The Package Travel Company Limited T/A Gulf Tours (“we”, “our”, “us”).  By booking or participating in any of our tours, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.  

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.   

1. Bookings & Payments 

All bookings made via our website or third-party booking platforms (including Rezdy and Rezdy-connected agents) require full payment at the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed in writing. 

Prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST unless stated otherwise. 

Bookings are subject to availability and minimum numbers. 

2. Cancellations, Amendments & No-Shows (Tours & Transfers) 

Customer Cancellations 

Cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure or pickup time are eligible for a refund less any non-recoverable booking or administration fees. 

Cancellations made within 24 hours of departure or pickup are non-refundable. 

No shows are non-refundable. 

Amendments 

Date or time changes requested more than 24 hours prior may be accommodated subject to availability. 

Changes requested within 24 hours are treated as a cancellation and are non-refundable. 

These conditions apply regardless of booking channel, including direct website bookings and bookings made via Rezdy-powered agents. 

3. Changes & Delays 

We make every effort to operate tours as advertised. 
Routes, timings, vehicles, or inclusions may change due to unforeseen circumstances. 
We are not liable for additional costs incurred as a result of such changes. 

4. Liability 

Participation in tours and transport services is at your own risk. 

The Package Travel Company Ltd (T/A Gulf Tours), its employees, and contractors are not liable for injury, loss, or damage except as required by New Zealand law. 

You are responsible for arranging your own travel insurance. 

5. Health, Safety & Conduct 

You must advise us of any medical conditions, mobility limitations, or dietary requirements at the time of booking. 

We reserve the right to refuse or remove any passenger whose behavior is unsafe, disruptive, or impacts the experience of others. 

6. Personal Belongings 

We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to personal items. 
Valuables should be kept with you at all times. 

7. Photography 

Photos and videos may be taken during tours or transport services. 
Unless you notify us in writing prior to travel, you consent to their reasonable use for Gulf Tours promotional purposes. 

8. Privacy 

Personal information is collected solely for booking, operational, and communication purposes. 
Information is not shared with third parties except where required to deliver the service. 

9. Premium Shuttle, Airport & Cruise-Ship Transfer Services 

In addition to tours, The Package Travel Company Ltd provides premium, reliability-focused shuttle and transfer services, including airport transfers and cruise-ship passenger transport. 

Confirmed Pickups & Cut-Off Times 

Pickup times and locations are confirmed at booking and locked within Rezdy’s system. 

Passengers must be ready and waiting at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled pickup time. 

Failure to be present at the agreed pickup time constitutes a no-show and is non-refundable. 

Airport Transfers 

Pickup times are planned using flight schedules and buffer allowances. 

We are not responsible for delays caused by airlines, immigration, customs, biosecurity, or baggage handling. 

Missed flights caused by passenger lateness, incorrect booking details, or factors outside our control are not our liability. 

Cruise-Ship Transfers 

Cruise ship pickups and returns operate on strict schedules due to port access and vessel departure times. 

Passengers must return to the vehicle at the clearly stated time. 

Passengers who fail to return on time may be left behind to ensure schedule compliance. 

No refunds apply for missed ship departures caused by passenger lateness. 

Cancellations (Transfer Services) 

Cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled pickup may be eligible for a refund or credit. 

Cancellations within 24 hours, late arrivals, or no-shows are non-refundable, reflecting reserved vehicle capacity and driver allocation. 

These rules align with Rezdy cancellation and cut-off enforcement and apply across all booking channels. 

Zero Alcohol & Behaviour Policy 

A zero-alcohol tolerance policy applies to all shuttle, transfer and tour services. 

Alcohol consumption is not permitted in our vehicles at any time. 

Passengers who are intoxicated, consuming alcohol, or behaving unsafely may be refused service or removed without a refund. The driver’s decision regarding safety and conduct is final. 

Luggage 

Luggage must be declared at booking. 

Oversized, excess, or undeclared luggage may be refused if it cannot be safely and legally accommodated. 

Personal belongings are carried at the passenger’s own risk. 

Delays & Liability 

All times are estimates only and subject to traffic, weather, road incidents, port or aviation controls. 

Any liability is limited to the value of the transport service booked.
